IJG’s view of humanity is founded in a humanistic tradition with respect and care for each individual. We place great emphasis in providing each child with the best possible development opportunities based on qualifications and skills.

Key values in our teaching and daily life are democracy, tolerance and intellectual freedom. The school emphasises that the children are taught to unfold and develop a democratic mind-set. We want the children to acquire a tolerant view of humanity characterised by academic insight, respect for the view of others and to understand that intellectual freedom is an absolute condition for a free formation of public opinion.

By focusing on a high academic level combined with art subjects (e.g. music), the school wishes to stimulate the children’s learning the best way possible.

It is our objective to develop our children into being independent human beings who have the ability to liaise in mutual trust and understanding.
